Inhabit project wins 2023 MUSE Gold Award

An Inhabit lighting design project Guang Hui Zun Fu in Guangzhou has won the 2023 Gold Award – Architectural Lighting in the MUSE Design Awards.

The MUSE Design Awards is an international design competition dedicated to recognizing excellent and original design work from across the globe. With a mission to honor, celebrate, and elevate outstanding design innovators, MUSE also serves as a key stage to unveil up-and-coming stars in Architecture, Interior, Product, Landscape, Lighting, Furniture and Fashion Design worldwide.

Guang Hui New World Financial Center | Guang Hui Zun Fu, is located in the eastern CBD of Guangzhou, on top of the intersection of TOD nine-track transportation hub. Inhabit’s lighting team led by Lily Shen, Lighting Manager | Shenzhen, worked in collaboration with internationally renowned architect teams from LWK Architects to provide lighting schematic design, technical input and implementation of the unique lighting concept.

For the design process Inhabit adopted a unique approach due to the complex façade structures. This involved on-site experimentation to check the procedure settings of the lighting control system and identify the linear relationship between the lighting effect with the current flow and more than 10 different gradients. Dynamic lighting effects on the façade have been realized with a low-power LED lighting fixture. The lighting design has met both LEED and China Green Building standards.
