Qianhai Kerry Centre

Shenzhen’s Qianhai Kerry Centre comprises a mix of residential, commercial, retail and public space within a high-density, multi-layered development.

The project, developed by Kerry Properties Limited, won two prestigious awards in the MIPIM Asia Awards 2020. The awards celebrate excellence and innovation in property development, honouring the most outstanding projects in Asia-Pacific. In addition the apartments in this development complex in Qianhai Free Trade Park have received “Honorable Mentions” in the category “Project of the Year” of LEED Homes Awards. The awards are organised by the US Green Building Council and this is the first time a project in China has attained this accreditation.

Described by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates as “a city unto itself”, the centre consists of a connected network of buildings and gardens that reinforce the sustainability gaols of the project by integrating landscape and nature into the built form, actively mitigating the urban heat island effect.

Inhabit was engaged by Kerry Properties to provide Façade Consulting and Access and Maintenance Consulting to Huanan Land (Shenzhen) Co. for the project.
