Through façade design Joel strives to foster more sustainable principles into projects effecting positive change and optimising building outcomes in regard to cost, the environment, occupant comfort and operations. With a keen interest in geometry and how this is articulated into façade materiality and the built environment, Joel is driven to strive for the realisation of ambitious projects. With an education in architectural design and construction management he has a thorough comprehension of the whole architectural procurement process. His project experience has included detailed methodology in addressing thermal comfort, heat loss, daylighting and air-tightness performance.

Joel is methodical, responsive, attentive and personable in the management process and he has worked with leading architectural practices, minor and major project consultants, Tier 1 and 2 Builders, their façade contractors and Project Management firms. He has enjoyed consulting from the early design phase to project completion in Australia and internationally.

Joel has worked across high-rise residential/commercial, educational and public building projects, helping to procure and manage façade design and construction through a systematic and logical process. His roles have allowed him to demonstrate leadership and management skills with local and international teams. This has led to experience with project budgeting, resource allocation and fee negotiations.
