Jason Paget Associate, Hong Kong
Jason has in excess of 20 years’ experience in the façade industry in the UK, Asia and the Middle East. Initially taking an apprenticeship in the design office of a UK Façade Contractor, he was trained in procurement, fabrication and installation assignments before qualifying as a design draughtsman, Jason has developed his knowledge of all façade related aspects and consulted on them for the last 11 years. Primarily involved in the design and construction of some of the world’s tallest high-rise commercial buildings in Dubai, Shanghai, Tianjin and Hong Kong, he has also worked on prestigious low-rise developments with world renowned architects on other more complex façade aspects. Jason also has significant site, factory and test laboratory experience, where he has been involved in overseeing project fabrication, assembly, installation and testing.
Now based in Inhabit’s Hong Kong office, Jason’s strengths lie in working with architects and clients on developing workable and cost effective detail solutions that meet with the desired architectural design intent and advising on which materials best suit these applications. Jason has a full appreciation and understanding of design and construction practices; his background in contracting and experiences in consulting often enable on-the-spot solutions to be proposed or made in meetings and design workshops that aid in streamlining the design process at the early stages of a project.
