Gemma Craig Regional Manager | New Zealand, Auckland

As the Regional Manager – New Zealand, Auckland, Gemma leads the façade consulting and engineering team in delivering a vast array of projects including many of New Zealand’s highest profile developments. Educated and chartered in New Zealand, she brings to the team her experience in the UK and Australia, where she also holds charterships. Gemma is now in an industry-leading position in New Zealand where her highly regarded skill set is positioned to influence excellence in the built environment.

With a background consisting of a combination of structural engineering and façade engineering, Gemma has a strong understanding of the primary structure and façade interface. She has carried out structural design and review of roles of complex facades varying from multi-story residential buildings to educational building renovations.

Gemma brings her experience in facade procurement and logistics in China when designing to meet façade contractor’s requirements, managing projects and tackling site issues. She has built a strong rapport with her clients and through her whole-of-project approach and thorough understanding of structural design requirements in New Zealand, delivers facade solutions that blend the complexities of projects and the commercial  ambitions of the client.

Gemma values professional development and continual learning and has achieved chartered status with IPENZ, Engineers Australia and The Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
