Emanuela leads Inhabits Specialist Lighting Design team in Singapore, with a strong client focus, driven by  her interest in architecture and its interaction with light.

After graduating as an Interior Designer at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Italy, Emanuela completed a Master in Lighting Design. She followed this with experience in Paris with award-winning Lighting Designer Louis Clair, which fuelled her “cinematic” approach to lighting. Her past 12 years working in Singapore, has enriched her of knowledge and confidence to lead the design and coordination of large-scale projects, from concept to completion stage.

She has wide experience across Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East and America, having collaborated with world-class designers and architects such as Philippe Starck, Foster + Partners, Renzo Piano, Carlos Zapata and Peter Marino.

Emanuela is Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore’s Temasek Polytechnic, for their Post Diploma Specialist Course in Lighting Design. Her lectures on “light for spatial quality” touch on topics like “Light Poverty”, “Lighting Emotional Baggage” and the “Instagram Aesthetic”.
