Inhabit projects win International Design Awards

Two Inhabit Lighting Projects have won international 2022 MUSE Design Awards.

The J Hotel in Shanghai is the Platinum Winner in the Hotels and Hospitality Category, and Nanjing La Vita is the Silver Winner in the Architectural Design category. Both the Shanghai and Hong Kong Specialist Lighting Design teams worked on the J Hotel design while the Shanghai team designed the Nanjing La Vita lighting project.

The MUSE Design Awards is an international competition for designers whose craftsmanship, ingenuity and thorough work leave others in awe, and in so doing redefine boundaries and scope.

Commenting on the J Hotel Award Deputy CEO Hugh Brennand said:

” I would like to say a huge congratulations to the lighting team for this great achievement. The J Hotel interior design is both striking and unique and it is clear that the lighting design was crucial to its execution. I look forward to seeing the team work on more interior projects which demonstrates the team’s strength across all areas of lighting design.”

Xuekun Qian, Executive Director and Founding Partner | Shanghai commented:

” Firstly, congratulations to Silvia Huang, Design Manager | Lighting | Shanghai, and the lighting team who worked very hard on the two projects. I also would like to thank Silvia for her effort in building up a very good lighting team. We started our lighting business 4 years ago when Silvia joined Inhabit. At that time, we only had a few small façade lighting projects, but now we are working with so many well-known architects and interior designers on quite a few high-end projects in China. I believe we will win more and more such prizes and will be recognized as one of the top lighting designers soon.”
