Inhabit and Egis celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2025
Inhabit and Egis celebrated National Reconciliation Week 2025 (27 May to 3 June) in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with members of the team from KARI.
KARI is an Indigenous not-for-profit organisation building community strength, supporting wellbeing and enriching lives through programs and services. It also works to support corporate Australia on the journey to a more reconciled Australia.
David Derrick, Executive Director Transport, Egis ANZ, welcomed the Kari team to the meeting and said Egis’ work on its Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) underpinned Egis’ commitment to meaningful engagement and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cain Slater, Chief Commercial Officer at Kari, introduced members of the Kari team who reflected on what reconciliation means to them.
Egis RAP leader Senior Consultant Katherine Williams and Elissa Stirling, Regional Manager Victoria, and Inhabit RAP leader, shared Egis’ RAP artwork by indigenous artist Rhonda Sampson. The art, titled Walking Together, has been embraced by Egis Executive Leadership in ANZ.
