Inhabit Analysis Tool Performs Well in Bench Test

Inhabit’s Quick Energy, Carbon and Cost (QuECC) analysis tool has performed well in recent bench tests against Equest*, predicting total energy consumption to within 7% and 2%.

Designed to estimate annual energy consumption and identify the most effective ways of reducing it, QuECC can give results for energy, carbon dioxide-equivalent emissions and energy costs for a building from the earliest stages of design, and can do so in a few minutes. This lets design teams get on with design rather than waiting for time consuming hourly simulation models to be built and run.

For more information on QuECC, or building performance optimisation in general, contact our Dubai office.

* Equest is energy simulation software based on the DOE-2 engine and is widely used for ASHRAE-90.1 compliant energy modelling.
