Hong Kong event focuses on reducing embodied carbon

On Thursday, 15th June 2023 Inhabit’s Hong Kong team held a technical discussion with more than 70 industry colleagues, including developers, architects, main contractors and consultants on the topic Building for the Future, Decarbonising Buildings – the Chicken or the Egg?

The focus of the evening was to discuss the latest trends in the new climate change framework in Hong Kong and the measures to reduce embodied carbon, a positive development towards the reduction of embodied carbon.

Associate Halie Zhan and Senior Sustainability Consultant Leo Li presented on how façade design and engineering can contribute to reducing operational and embodied carbon. The event also focused on

– Modular façades, DfMA approach
