Gerald Stewart publishes in Middle East Climate Control magazine
Gerald Stewart, Inhabit Principal – Acoustics, Dubai, has published an article in the April 2019 edition of Middle East Climate Control magazine. In the article Gerald makes the case for acoustic certification in the Middle East.
He says while architects, builders and developers are requesting acoustics be included at the design stage of a project, too often it is dropped at the cost planning stage. This can then lead to buildings with unacceptable levels of noise for occupants.
Gerald asks why the Middle East does not have sign off processes for the acoustics codes that are in place and pinpoints one simple missing link. To find out what this is read the full article here: https://issuu.com/cpi-industry/docs/ccme-apr-2019/48.
