Dr. CJ Shao hosted Façade Design Salon in Beijing
On September 28, 2021, Dr. CJ Shao, Inhabit Founding Partner and Executive Director | Beijing was invited to serve as the host of a Design Salon entitled “Evolution of Skin and Future of Architecture”. This event is one of the series of activities of Beijing International Design Week – Urban Architecture Biennale 2021, which is jointly sponsored by China Building Metal Structure Association and China Architectural Society.
At the salon, leaders, experts and scholars from industry associations, owners and developers, architectural design units, façade consultant companies and building product manufacturers have conducted a number of project design sharing and technical discussions around the selection and innovation of building skin materials and systems, including the National Speed Skating Stadium of 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Phase II of the National Conference Center, the super-large full-glass wall of Taikang Tower in Beijing CBD, and sky-glass chamber of Qingdao Haitian Center.
In the past decade, Inhabit (China) has been committed to promoting the technical advance of China’s building façade industry, actively participated in hundreds of projects, and made constant efforts for the success of high-quality and high-standard curtain wall engineering.
