Biyal-a Armstrong Creek Library highly commended at Australian Awards

The Biyal-a Armstrong Creek Library was Highly Commended in the Sustainability category at the Consult Australia Awards for Excellence last night. We’re also proud to share that Egis Group was named Medium Firm of the Year at the awards.

The Highly Commended recognition in the Sustainability category acknowledged our façade and sustainability consulting on the Biyal-a Armstrong Creek Library project, delivered for the City of Greater Geelong.

This highly collaborative project with Buchan architects, is pursuing a 5-Star Green Star rating and showcases Inhabit’s strength in integrated design, sustainability leadership and effective partnership with government, industry and Traditional Owners.

Commenting on the recognition, Wayne Sanderson, Director Buildings Australia, said: “Congratulations to Gregory Rice and the Inhabit Sustainability team. This recognition reflects the dedication of our people and the impact we are delivering for clients and communities across Australia.”

A huge thank you to our clients, partners and teams who make achievements like this possible. As part of the Egis team, we’re delivering places that create lasting value for communities.
