Inhabit experts speak at ZAK Hong Kong and China

Inhabit participated in the Zak World of Façades Conferences held in Hong Kong on 17 July 2025 and Shanghai on 24 July 2025. Our team of experts contributed as speakers, showcasing our deep expertise in sustainable Façade Engineering.

Hong Kong highlights:
Jovi Wong, Regional Director | Hong Kong and Macau, inaugurated the conference as the host. He emphasised the façade’s evolution into a dynamic interface that effectively addresses the challenges posed by climate change and urbanisation.

Leo Li, Senior Sustainability Consultant, followed with an insightful presentation on reflected solar glare. He discussed methodologies for predicting glare impact in planned developments and proposed mitigation strategies.

Marius Mariano, Associate, participated in a panel on climate resilience, where he explored the various climate risks facing the façade industry. He examined how frameworks are incorporating climate risk and resilience criteria and discussed the current adoption of these measures.

Shanghai highlights:
Continuing this momentum in Shanghai, Xuekun Qian, Executive Director | China, contributed to a panel on large-format glass. He addressed the architectural motivations behind its use in contemporary design, highlighting key differences between large glass and conventional façade systems. He also discussed the evolution of large glass applications and their impact on design and performance.
