HUNTINGTOWER PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE (PAC)

Huntingtower Performing Arts Centre is the centerpiece of Huntingtower School’s music, drama and personal develop campus. The award-winning facility, designed by Baldasso Cortese Architects, hosts
a broad range of concerts, performances, presentations and school functions.

Inhabit provided integrated theatre, acoustic and audio-visual consultancy for the project. Our collaborative approach engages with the client, architect, users and stakeholders to develop a facility
that responds to the functional, operational and aspirational goals of the school and is integrated with the architectural vision.

Through an iterative design approach, we review theatrical, musical and presentation requirements to manage priorities and deliver flexible spaces that are adaptable and responsive to the anticipated range of performances and presentations.

In addition to theatre planning and acoustic design, Inhabit also designed the staging, production lighting and production sound systems that support and enhance performances. These systems were designed to enable students to experience and operate the type of systems that are used throughout the theatre and music industry.
