Stephen Rancic Technical Director, Melbourne
Stephen is a Technical Director, based in the Melbourne office. He leads the technical and internal quality delivery for the Melbourne office and also assists the Inhabit Sydney practice on high profile projects.
Stephen brings over 28 years’ professional experience in structural engineering design, consulting and site inspection of a wide variety of buildings, structures and infrastructure works in both private and public sectors in Australia, UK, Sultanate of Oman, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Hong Kong. As a Structural Engineer, he has extensive experience in identifying, analysing and responding to project risk related issues in accordance with international best practice procedures. He also has a commercial awareness of the implementation, maintenance and support management systems set by the employing company and external parties, maintaining compliance with National and International Standards, Codes of Practice / Legislation and Standards.
Stephen’s role is equally split between consulting engineering with clients and mentoring the next generation of engineers within Inhabit, where he has a leading role in the development of training and awareness required in working on high profile projects.
