Patrick Hung Associate | Hong Kong
Patrick is an Associate with Inhabit, based in the Hong Kong office.
Patrick has been in the façade industry for over 30 years and has developed a sound technical background in façade design and engineering. He has built close relationship with a range of leading land developers, architects and façade related suppliers, contractors and consultants. He has been involved in a diverse number of roles and positions ranging from design management to project procurement. Across all of these roles Patrick has been providing professional advice to assist architects and clients in the design of façade systems in a holistic manner. He has extensive global façade experience in all aspects of façade from design through to completed construction. This includes initial massing studies, façade system design, curtain wall systems, pre-tension cable / rod glass wall system, cladding systems, skylights and canopies, precast façade systems, steel structures, A&A works and performance test mock-ups. Patrick also has significant site, factory and test laboratory experience, including the oversight of several projects’ fabrication, assembly, installation and testing.
His experience in various project types allows him to work under high pressure and solve problems on the spot. Having knowledge in design, production and on-site constructability, Patrick is able to manage and consult on projects from design through to construction and ensure a quality result. One of Patrick’s key areas of expertise is specializing in tackling façade technical problems and providing expert solution to clients – this has been well recognized. Patrick’s responsibilities also include running projects, human resources allocation and cost control along with providing in-house façade technical advice to the Inhabit Hong Kong and PRC offices.
