Francesca Madeo Associate, Hong Kong

Francesca is an Associate, responsible for leading and coordinating projects in Hong Kong and the South East Asia region.

With a background in architecture, Francesca is chartered with the RIBA.  Her experience prior to joining Inhabit ranged from scientific research and teaching in academia to the delivery of projects in industry. She started her career working for a number of architectural practices in Genoa, Italy. In 2004, Francesca obtained her PhD from the Politecnico di Milano, with her primary thesis on the development of glass and façade technology in architecture. Thereafter, Francesca has chosen to specialise in the field of façade design, working first in London before moving to Hong Kong in 2009. Her portfolio of work includes collaboration with various high profile architects and engineers in the realisation of innovative and challenging façade schemes.

Francesca’s responsibilities include the promotion and development of Inhabit’s presence in new market areas, with a focus on the requirement of complex technical expertise. With her academic experience, she has adopted a mentoring role in the continual development of the team through technical learning and inspiring multidisciplinary research.
