David Hunton Technical Director, Melbourne
David is a Technical Director based in Melbourne, where he leads the technical quality and engineering consulting for the Melbourne office. He is part of the Australian Management Team.
David has been involved in the façade industry for over 30 years. During the early 1980’s, he pioneered the use of structural silicone glazing in Melbourne and Sydney. His experience has included involvement in high profile façade projects in Melbourne, London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Jakarta. He was involved in the foundation of CWCT in Bath, UK in 1990. From then, David led and grew a façade consultancy practice in Melbourne.
David has an active role in leading the consulting engineering team, interfacing with clients and ensuring that technical quality is delivered to all of Inhabit’s projects. He also continues to mentor staff and works closely with architects and
contractors. David is a recognised leader in the façade industry within Australia.
